Improvement in bituminous surface course using waste plastic in acid-rain susceptible area’s

Acid rain as an important environmental issue has negative impact on bitumen performance, thereby shortening the service life of bituminous pavements. Rapid industrial and economic developments causes changes in environment, including acid rain. consisting sulphuric nitric adverse effects Both these acids react with adversely effect’s properties leading to degradation pavements at early stage life. Early such can be reduced some extent by using waste plastic surface course. Besides puts effect bitumen, it also percolates deep down various layers reduces serviceability our & its foundation. Waste PET water bottles cannot only prevents but entry into pavement absorbs which makes hydroscopic because does not percolate below layers. In this paper, interaction between constituents is being investigated analyzing control mix (mix without content) 6% WPET Marshal stability test. Also, it’s evaluated how improvement course done area’s so that show good safety serviceability.
